WSPS: Ready for What's Next
2012 - 2015 Strategic Plan

The new three-year strategic plan, approved by the Workplace Safety & Prevention Services (WSPS) Board of Directors on May 15, 2012, sets out a roadmap for reaching 154,000 businesses, as part of the organization’s overarching mission to put health and safety solutions within reach of every employer and employee in Ontario.
It’s a mission large in scope, especially given that the 154,000 businesses in the province’s agriculture, manufacturing and service industries represent 3.8 million employees.
Quality Policy
WSPS is committed to achieving the highest standards, through continual improvement, in providing programs, products, and services that:
-
serve the needs of our employees, customers and stakeholders,
-
are effective for the prevention of injury and illness, and
-
provide value in terms of the services delivered and outcomes achieved for the costs incurred.
To achieve these goals, a comprehensive Quality Management System has been established enabling WSPS to meet all ISO 9001:2008 requirements as well as the Canadian Framework for Business Excellence established by Canada's National Quality Institute (NQI)/Excellence Canada. The management system approach will facilitate the achievement of WSPS's quality goals and objectives as outlined in WSPS's Strategic and Business Plans.
