WSN members pass bylaws in first AGM
May 30, 2011

Workplace Safety North passed another milestone in April, holding its first annual general meeting in conjunction with the Mining Health and Safety Conference in Sudbury April 20.
“Our organization is still very young, but we have a solid foundation,” said Candys Ballanger-Michaud, WSN’s President and CEO. “We have a committed, engaged board of directors, and their first AGM was an illustration of the progress we’ve already made.”
Delegates at the meeting passed WSN’s bylaws and approved the 2010 financial report. WSN’s board of directors remains the same for 2011, with representation from across the organization’s legacy sectors, plus the broader northern Ontario community.
