Health and Safety for Supervisors and Managers Train-the-Trainer (3 days)
Participants in this program will learn to how to teach supervisors and managers to comply with legislative requirements. A wide range of topics is covered, including supervisory responsibilities, legislation, occupational hazard recognition and control, ergonomics and workplace inspections.
Traffic Protection Train-the-Trainer (2 days)
Participants in this program will learn how to teach individuals about the hazards of working close to vehicles and equipment, the legislation that applies and how workers can protect themselves from these hazards.
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Train-the-Trainer (2 days)
Occupational diseases account for over half of all occupational fatalities in Ontario. Occupational disease and injury from chemicals can be prevented. Participants in this program will learn to teach individuals how to list the chemical hazards that may be found in their workplace, describe the health hazards of these chemicals and explain how they may be identified and evaluated using the WHMIS system of labels and Material Safety Data Sheets.
