Workplace Violence Prevention in Health and Community Care 
This important new DVD, funded by the Ministry of Health & Long-Term Care, is the first educational video available on this topic for the health and community care sector. Revised in 2010, to include the amendments to the OHS Act and additional information on domestic violence, it encourages organizations and their employees to adopt the belief that violence is not part of the job. The DVD defines workplace violence and provides examples of violence types that may be encountered. There are specific modules for acute care, long-term care and community care.
